More than Rs.2,017 crore disbursed to over 65 lakh beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, more than 2,017 crore rupees have been disbursed to over 65 lakh beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer under various social security schemes. So far, 750 crore rupees have been provided as interest subvention to 3.44 Lakh account holders. Aadhaar seeding of ration cards



has been achieved completely. 

According to a spokesman of J&K Govt, a fear-free, corruption-free system of governance has been established through a paperless, faceless procedural framework for the benefit of downtrodden.
