Madhya Pradesh government has constituted a delimitation commission for fresh demarcation of Divisions, Districts and Tehsils in the state. The government says that the boundaries of the Districts and Divisions are being re-drawn for the convenience of the public.
The state government constituted a three-member delimitation commission yesterday. Retired Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Shrivastava has been
made the chairman of the commission. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that citizens will be able to give suggestions to this commission.
Madhya Pradesh is the second largest state in the country geographically. The area of the state is large but due to the boundaries of the district and divisions, people also have to face various problems. Therefore, the boundaries are re-drawing.
