In Madhya Pradesh, all the women registered under the Mukhyamantri Laadli Behna Yojana and Pradhanmantri Ujjawala scheme will get domestic gas cylinders at a cost of just 450 Rupees.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the registration process for this scheme yesterday.
Virtually addressing the main function at Tikamgarh, Mr Chouhan informed that the eligible women will have
to first get registered through a very simple process and then they would have to pay the gas cylinder’s actual amount to their respective gas agencies.
He said, The state government and other concerned departments would deposit this extra amount back into the bank accounts of the eligible women and they would start getting one gas cylinder per month for 450 Rupees.
