MP M Selvarasau From Nagapattinam Passes Away At Chennai

In Tamil Nadu,  M.Selvarasau, Member of Parliament from Nagapattinam, passed away at Chennai early this morning. The 67 year old was undergoing treatment for ailment at a hospital in Chennai.  The four time Lok Sabha MP , Selvarasu, a long time senior member of the CPI was elected from Nagapattinam in 1989, 1996, 1998



and 2019. 

He had been in the forefront in farmers related issues and was instrumental in bringing rail routes to Delta districts. He joined the Communist Party at a very young age and led several movements in the Delta Districts.
