MPs of DMK, NC demand release of Farooq Abdullah

DMK and National Conference Members of Parliament today protested in front of Mahatma Gandhi statue in Parliament complex demanding the release of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah. Talking to media, DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran said it means situation in Kashmir is not



normal.

Congress members from North-East also protested and asked the government to scrap Citizenship Amendment bill. Congress MP from Assam Ripun Bora said this bill is not in the interest of North East people.
