Mukhyamantri- Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched yesterday at the state level in Pune in an enthusiastic atmosphere; where women were seen dancing to the tune of drums and Lazims. Expressing his sentiments on the occasion, chief minister Eknath Shinde said that it is his sincere wish to see the lives of women filled with happiness and flourish. Union minister of state Muralidhar Mohol, deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, with other dignitaries were present at the program. The chief minister assured that each and every eligible sister will be given the benefit of the scheme and said that it is a matter of satisfaction that a certain amount will be deposited in the bank accounts of lakhs of sisters, every month.
