Mumbai’s Magistrate Court has remanded Railway Protection Force- RPF constable Chetan Singh to police custody till 7th August for allegedly killing four persons onboard the Mumbai-Jaipur Superfast Express in the early hours of Monday.
According to Western Railway constable Chetan Kumar opened fire on his colleague Assistant Sub-Inspector Tikaram Meena
and three other passengers were also shot dead. While two of the deceased have been identified, the identity of the third victim is still being ascertained.
The constable had allegedly fired 12 rounds from his automatic service rifle. However, the reason for firing is still under investigation.
