Mumbai Police arrest man suspected of allegedly molesting actor Zaira Wasim

The Mumbai Police has arrested a man who is suspected of allegedly molesting actor Zaira Wasim onboard the Vistara flight from Delhi to Mumbai. Meanwhile, the Vistara Airlines has apologized for the incident and submitted an initial report to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Earlier, the Government had sought a report from the airlines after Zaira Wasim narrated her ordeal through her Instagram



posts and videos where she described how a middle-aged man tried to molest her during a Delhi-Mumbai flight.

In a tweet, the airlines said, they support Zaira Wasim and have zero tolerance for such behaviour. The airline said the crew became aware of the incident only when the flight was in its final descent, but they were already seated for landing as a part of safety protocol.
