Mumbai: BMC’s Additional Commissioner Suresh Kakani has said, restrictions in Mumbai have been relaxed due to the decline in Corona cases in the metropolis and the daily cases have come down below 400 and the restrictions are likely to be relaxed further.

He said that the positivity rate has come below 1 percent and at present it is 0.88 percent. He



said even after the relaxation in the restrictions no rise was seen in the daily cases during the 14 day period after the relaxation.

So it is indicating that the pandemic is in control. He added that the situation will be reviewed in this week and a detailed report will be presented to the task force.
