Three schoolboys drowned at the Dadar beach in Mumbai on Saturday.
All the three boys studied at the Unal Mill High School. They were identified as Bharat Hanumanta (13), Anup Yadav (16) and Rohit Yadav (15).
Fire department officials said that they got a rescue call at 1137 hours stating that three boys were drowning at the Dadar beach.

The officials, who reached the spot at around 1147 hours, managed to pull out all the three boys



ashore.
RESCUE EFFORTS MADE
One fire engine, an ambulance and rescue boat team crew helped carry out the rescue operations.
Hanumanta was rushed to the Bhabha hospital, where he was declared dead by CMO Dr Virendra. Anup Yadav and Rohit Yadav were declared dead by Dr Rathode of the 108 ambulance service. Their bodies were sent to the KEM hospital.
It has been learnt that there were no life guards on this beach, which has been declared dangerous due to a rocky seashore.
