Mumbai's Santa Cruz records 100 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours

Mumbai received intense spells of rains throughout the night yesterday. Intense to very intense spells of rain has also been recorded across the city this morning between 5 am and 7 am. It has been raining intermittently since Sunday night in Mumbai and adjoining areas.

 

The continuous downpour has led to water



logging in many low lying areas of the city including Dadar and Hindmata, Andheri milan subway, Kurla among others.

According to the weather bureau, the Colaba weather station recorded over 60 mm rainfall while Santa Cruz recorded 100 mm in the last 24 hours.
