Naidu inaugurates newly constructed studio complex of Doordarshan, Dehradun

Information and broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated newly constructed studio complex of All India Radio and Doordarshan Kendra Dehradun today.

The Minister also launched regional news unit of DD news and AIR Dehradun Station. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Naidu congratulated the people of Uttarakhand



and said that with the launch of this station, a long pending demand of this region has been fullfilled.

Mr Naidu announced that Doordarshan Kendra, Dehradun will be functional 24x7 within a year. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
