Aligarh: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar dubbed Bollywood actors Naseeruddin Shah, Aamir Khan and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu as “traitors” and compared them to Rajpur king Jaichand and Najafi Nawab of Bengal Mir Jafar, in a bid to criticise them.

Speaking at an event in Aligarh on Monday, Kumar slammed Shah and Khan and said, "They may be good actors but they don't deserve respect as they are traitors. They are like Mir Jafar and Jaichand."

Kumar also asserted that India did not need Muslim youth like terrorist Ajmal Kasab, who was the only terrorists caught alive after the 2008 Mumbai attack but those youth who follow the footsteps of former president APJ Abdul Kalam. He said, "India doesn't need Muslim youth like Kasab, Yakub, and Ishrat Jahan but rather those who walk on the path shown by Kalam. Those who

walk on the path of Kasab will be considered only as traitors.”

The RSS leader also spoke on the delay in the hearing of the Ram Mandir –Babri Masjid case in the Supreme Court. He claimed that the Congress, Left and a few judges of the court were responsible for the delay in the Ayodhya case.

He said, “The first reason for the delay in the construction of Ram Temple is Congress, second are the Left parties, third is the communal religious forces and the fourth are a few judges who are delaying justice. I appeal to the saints and sadhus to sit on dharna outside the Congress office, offices of the Left parties and outside the house of Judges who are delaying the matter.”

The Supreme Court deferred the hearing in the Ayodhya case on January 29, as one of the judges, Justice SA Bobde, was unavailable for the hearing.
