National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to attend BRICS meeting in China

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval along with his BRICS counterparts will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping today. 

The group of NSAs will interact with Mr Jinping on security issues relating to BRICS countries. Mr Doval is in Beijing to attend two day BRICS NSAs meeting.Yesterday, Mr Doval met Chinese State Councillor Yang



Jiechi and held one-on-one talks on the sidelines of the main event. 

The discussions were held on bilateral relations, international and regional issues, multilateral affairs and major problems. The meeting came amid the standoff between Indian and Chinese troops at Doklam at the trijunction with Bhutan.
