Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi called on Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and reiterated Navy’s support to India’s first human space mission, Gaganayan as well as Deep Sea Mission, Samudrayan. The meeting highlighted the deepening partnership between the Indian Navy and the Indian Space Research Organization in key missions.
During the meeting Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the Navy’s
role in the recovery of the crew module for Gaganayan. The minister also added that the Deep Sea Mission is being undertaken in collaboration with the Navy to augment its submarine capacity.
The Minister also hailed Prime Minister Modi’s leadership for prioritizing the missions, which have gained significant momentum over the last five years.
