NCW Sends Inquiry Team Over Alleged Assault On AAP MP Swati Maliwal

The National Commission for Women, NCW  has said that it is sending an inquiry team to look into the alleged assault on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. In a social media post, NCW said that it vowed action and has  demanded justice from Delhi police into the matter. The Commission added that perpetrators must be held accountable. The NCW will also be sending a



formal letter to Delhi Police to send an action taken report in this matter in three  days.

Delhi Police official said that  the police  received a PCR call  in this regard and accordingly, the police responded  to the call. He said,  AAP MP aslo  came to the police station but no complaint was given by her.
