The constituents of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will meet in Patna today to discuss the formation of a new government in Bihar.
Talking to reporters in Patna yesterday, Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) President Nitish Kumar said, people have given their mandate to the NDA and it will form the government in the state. He said, leaders of all four NDA parties - JD(U), BJP, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Vikassheel Insaan Party will meet to discuss the formation of a new government. He said, every aspect of the formation of the government will be discussed at the meeting.
Mr. Kumar said
they have not yet finalised the date for oath taking and it will be decided later.
Yesterday, Mr Kumar held a meeting with newly elected MLAs of JD(U) in Patna. Hindustani Awaam Morcha (HAM) Chief Jitan Ram Manjhi met Nitish Kumar along with his four newly elected MLAs. Mr. Manjhi has given a letter of support to Mr Kumar. Later talking to reporters, Mr. Manjhi said, being a former Chief Minister he will not be a member in the new Cabinet. Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) Chief Mukesh Sahni also met Mr Kumar. VIP and HAM got four seats each in the Assembly elections.
