Nearly 4,200 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen delivered by Railways so far across country

Railways has so far delivered nearly 4,200 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to various states across the country. Railway Ministry said, 68 Oxygen Expresses have already completed their journey. It said, Railways is continuing its journey of bringing relief by delivering liquid medical oxygen to various states. Oxygen is now being delivered by Railways to new cities like Kanpur, which



received 80 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen on Sunday.

 

The Ministry said, Railways has so far delivered 293 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to Maharashtra, one thousand 230 tonnes to Uttar Pradesh, 271 tonnes to Madhya Pradesh, 1,679 tonnes to Delhi, 555 tonnes to Haryana, 123 tonnes to Telengana and 40 tonnes in Rajasthan.
