New RBI Governor to steer first central board meet on today

The central board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will meet on Friday under new Governor Shaktikanta Das.

The meeting is likely to review the progress made on some of the decisions taken on 19th of the last

meeting.

Soon after taking reins of the RBI, Mr Shaktikanta Das had said, he will try to uphold the autonomy, credibility and the integrity of the great institution.
