The Telangana government today issued an order called Regularisation of Unapproved and Illegal Layout Rules 2020 for urban and rural areas.
The Government of Telangana on 31st of August released a GO with new rules of regularization of unapproved and illegal layouts in the state. The new set of rules would be followed in all rural and urban areas for approving an unapproved and illegal layout. They would be known as ‘Telangana Regularization of Unapproved and Illegal Layout Rules, 2020.’
This is a part of Telangana government’s initiative to promote planned and sustainable development.
The cut off date is August 26,
2020, and the regularization charges are as follows:
- Less than 100 sq mt – Rs 200 per sq mt,
- 101 to 300 sq mt – Rs 400,
- 301 to 500 sq mt – Rs 600,
- Above 500 sq mt – Rs 750.
Slums – Rs 5 per sq mt. (Irrespective of Plot Area and Land Value).
