New Taxi Track Commissioned at Visakhapatnam Airport

A new taxi track N5 has been commissioned here yesterday at Visakhapatnam by MVV Satyanarayana, Member of Parliament, Visakhapatnam and Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh AVSM, VSM, Flag Officer.

The commissioning ceremony is a milestone achievement that will herald the much awaited expansion of the busiest airport of Andhra Pradesh.

Construction of N5 taxi track in addition to existing N3 and N4



taxi tracks will provide an additional access to the runway and enable handling of greater number of commercial aircraft particularly during peak hours.

Keeping pace with growing requirements of civil and military users, Vishakhapatnam Airport is poised to witness numerous infrastructure projects including the construction of a Parallel Taxi Track and Runway Resurfacing.
