The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued notices to the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police of Rajasthan over two separate cases related to negligence. NHRC has taken sou motu cognisance of media reports in both cases and asked for detailed reports from the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police within two weeks, including the health status of the victim child, police actions and actions taken against those responsible, and any compensation provided to the aggrieved families.

According to media reports, a 10-year-old child was transfused with the

The Commission has observed that the contents of the news report raise serious concerns about the violation of the victim’s human rights, if true.
