National Investigation Agency, NIA, has arrested one person accused in the grenade attack on police station Maksudan in Jalandhar district of Punjab. He was arrested from Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district. 

He will be produced before special NIA court at Mohali. 

NIA sources said, on 14th September last year, four grenades were hurled at the police



station in which one policeman was injured.

NIA investigation revealed that the attack was the handiwork of a Kashmir-based militant outfit. Two accused have already been arrested in this case. 

Two other accused persons were killed in an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir on 22nd December last year.
