The National Investigation Agency (NIA) yesterday arrested an offender Nuruddin from Mysuru, Karnataka in the Hyderabad espionage case involving a Sri Lankan and a Pakistani national. According to the NIA, Nuruddin was carrying a cash reward of five lakh rupees.
NIA also conducted house searches and
several incriminating materials, including mobile phones, laptop, pen drives, and drones were recovered. NIA investigations have revealed that Nuruddin was involved in financing the anti-national espionage activities through fake Indian currency at the behest of the accused Pakistani national.
