The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday carried out searches at multiple locations in Bihar against the cadres of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) in the state.
Police sources said, the team had reached different locations in six districts of East Champaran, Katihar, Madhubani, Siwan, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga to
investigate the activities related to the banned PFI organization. During raids mobile, SIM cards and objectionable literature were seized.
The Union Home Ministry had in September last year declared the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its affiliates an 'Unlawful Association'.
