The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids in Kaimur, Gaya and Aurangabad districts following Naxal-related inputs in Bihar. During the raids at different locations in Naxal affected Adhaura area in Kaimur three suspected Maoists were arrested.
In Bhabhua city in Kaimur district, several documents along with a computer hard disk were seized from local printing presses. They were allegedly publishing the banned Naxal literature and pamphlets. In
Gaya, the Agency sleuths raided different locations in the Konch and Delha police station area. The house of local ward member Raju Jat was searched by the Agency and family members of the leader were interrogated over the alleged links with Naxals.
In Aurangabad, the agency officials in the presence of local police searched at different locations in Rafiganj and Dheebra areas related to jailed Naxal leader Pramod Mishra.
