The National Investigation Agency has made its eighth arrest in the Pune ISIS module case. The arrested accused is from Jharkhand and is believed to be actively involved in promoting terrorist activities of the designated foreign terrorist organisation.
The agency said he was directly associated with other arrested individuals in the Pune ISIS module case. He also managed
to escape from Pune Police in July this year, when he was caught red-handed for attempting bike theft, along with others.
The investigation has revealed that the accused along with others had plans to commit terrorist acts with the aim to disturb peace and communal harmony of the country in furtherance of the ISIS agenda.
