In Uttar Pradesh, The Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamaraaam Dal, Nishad Party quits alliance of SP-BSP-RLS just two days after joining it.
The Nishad Party is headed by Sanjay Nishad, father of Pravin Nishad who had won the Gorakhpur parliamentary seat on an SP ticket in the 2018 by-polls. Sanjay Nishad said that his party is no more in alliance with the Samajwadi Party.
There was a conflict between the two parties on Maharajganj seat as Nishad Party wanted to contest with its own party symbol whereas Samajwadi Party was not ready for
it. He further added that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had said that he will make an announcement on seats for our party but they didn’t put our name on poster or banners.
Party chief Sanjay Nishad day met with BJP leaders including Yogi Adityanath, Sidharth Nath Singh and BJP state president Mahendra Nath Pandey and speculations are rife that they can go in alliance with BJP.
The Party has clout over Gorakhpur and neighbouring seats where Nishad voters are in large numbers.
