Nitin Gadkari Calls Upon Electrical Vehicle Sector to Shift Towards Indigenous Battery Technology

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has called upon the Electrical Vehicle sector to shift towards a completely indigenous battery technology in the coming years.

He also stressed the need for the sector to emerge as pioneers



in developing leading battery and power-train technologies. Pointing out the need to achieve the goal of Aatma Nirbhar in the Transport Sector, Mr Gadkari said, it is necessary to dedicate the coming years to rigorous research and development of battery technologies.
