Road Transport and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay foundation stones and inaugurate various developmental projects worth over 6600 crore rupees in Viskhapatnam today.
Arrangements have been made for foundation stones to various development projects aiming to develop Road Connectivity that includes four lane of NH-16 from Ichapuram to Narasannapeta and six-lane widening of Ranasthalam to Narasannapeta at a cost of total 3,813 crores rupees and four lane widening of port connectivity road at a
cost of 549 crores rupees.
The Minister will also launch grade separator at Visakhapatnam port under Sagarmala on NH-7 to reduce Traffic congestion. He will also inaugurate two new panama rail mounted quary cranes and allied equipment at an estimated cost of 150 crore rupees at Visakha container terminal private limited followed by the inauguration of Modernized iron ore handling complex one of the biggest in country set up at a cost of 580 crores.
