Nitin Patil of the Nationalist Congress Party has been elected to the Rajya Sabha unopposed from Maharashtra. He received the letter in this regard from the election officer at Vidhan Bhawan yesterday in the presence of NCP’s officials.
Patil will fill the Rajya Sabha seat which fell vacant after BJP’s Piyush Goyal was elected to the Lok Sabha. With this, Nitin Patil has become the third MP from the Satara
