Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday took a jibe at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging he came to him with folded hands twice. Tejashwi said that Nitish Kumar's credibility and influence in state politics have come to an end.

Tejashwi Yadav also claimed that the Janata Dal (United) chief is not able to manage state affairs any longer.

"Everything he once earned in politics is now lost. Twice, Nitish Kumar came to us with folded hands, asking for support, but we will not make the mistake of reviving him again," the former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister said in an exclusive interview.

"The credibility and influence of Nitish Kumar in Bihar have come to an end. His era is over. There is a prominent law and order situation in Bihar which the Chief Minister is not able to manage," the

RJD leader said.

When asked about the possibility of joining hands with Nitish Kumar in the future, Tejashwi Yadav said that his party would not repeat the mistake to revive him again.

Yadav also criticised the Chief Minister for switching alliances frequently, saying, "When Nitish is with RJD, he speaks against the BJP, and when he is with the BJP, he makes similar remarks against RJD. His credibility is completely destroyed".

The RJD leader, despite his party's underwhelming performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where they secured only four out of the 23 contested seats, exuded confidence that the 'Mahagathbandhan' (grand alliance) will win the 2025 Bihar Assembly polls.

"The people of Bihar will choose their government in 2025, and no one can stop them," he said.
