Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today recommended a CBI probe into alleged swindling of government money to the tune of over Rs 950 crore by an NGO in Bhagalpur. Nitish Kumar's decision came after a high-level meeting on the the case in which government money was allegedly syphoned off by an NGO in Bhagalpur and some nationalised banks and government officials were also



suspects. 

The meeting was attended by State Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General of Police P K Thakur, Principal Secretary of Home Amir Subhani and Inspector General of Police G S Gangwar. The cases were being investigated by the economic offences unit of the Bihar Police. The state police today issued a lookout notice against secretary of the accused NGO and her husband.
