NMDFC working with four partner agencies in J&K for empowerment of minorities

National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (NMDFC) is working with four partner agencies in Jammu and Kashmir. 

These include J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), J&K Women’s Development Corporation (WDC), J&K SCs/STs & Backward Classes (BCs) Development Corporation and Jammu & Kashmir State Financial Corporation (SFC). 

Term loan and micro financing for targeted beneficiary categories, provision of loan and finance to students and women, remains the mode of facilitation for empowerment of minorities



in the state.

Schemes and programmes being implemented by National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation and also its achievements in the state of J&K, Chairman cum Managing Director of the Corporation Md. Shahbaz Ali said, in view of present pace, the National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation is expected to contribute more towards empowerment of women, artisans and aspiring youths in J&K to pursue their education and also secure sustainable employment within the country and abroad.
