No case of BF. 7 variant has been detected in Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi Government has said that it is following the directions of Central government and conducting genome sequencing of all the Covid-19  cases. 

Addressing the media after reviewing the Covid situation in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal assured that there is no need to worry. He said, so far, no case of the BF. 7



variant has been detected in Delhi. 

On Covid-19 preparedness, he informed that at present  8 thousand covid dedicated beds have been kept ready and the number can be increased to 36 thousand when the need arises. Mr Kejriwal added that six thousand oxygen cylinders are in reserve besides those being used in Hospitals.
