The Supreme Court on
Friday directed that Board of Control
for Cricket in India (BCCI) should not release funds until State cricket
associations commit to Lodha panel recommendations, according to reports.
The apex court asked
the Lodha panel to appoint an independent auditor to scrutinise BCCI's
accounts, and also to fix a limit of financial transaction of the board.
10pt;">Further, BCCI President and Secretary were asked to
file a compliance report affidavit within two weeks regarding implementation of
Lodha panel recommendations.
Till now, only Tripura, Vidarbha and Rajasthan have adopted the Lodha committee recommendations in their letter and spirit.
