No unwanted incidents reported in last 24 hours in Manipur

In Manipur, no unwanted incidents have been reported in the last twenty-four hours. The State is restoring normalcy slowly and security forces have been taking measures to maintain law and order in the State. The Central Government had yesterday constituted a Peace Committee with State Governor Sushri Anusuiya Uikey as Chairperson to help establish peace, social and communal harmony among various ethnic groups and



promote a sense of security in the general public.

The committee consists of Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, two ministers, Outer MP of Manipur, President of BJP Manipur Pradesh Committee, MLA, former MLA, retired army and civil officers, educationists, representatives from civil societies and other eminent personalities of State.
