Nobel Laureate Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee gets a warm welcome in Kolkata

People of Kolkata gave a warm reception to the Nobel laureate Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee on his arrival in the city this evening. Mayor of Kolkata Firhad Hakim and State Minister Bratya Basu greeted Mr. Banerjee at the Airport when he reached



Kolkata. 

Big hoardings were set up on the different parts of the roads congratulating him for his success. People from all walks of life visited Mr. Banerjee's South Kolkata residence.
