In West Bengal, normal life has been affected due to continuous rains at different parts of the state since last couple of days.
The MeT office said, western disturbance along with moisture laden South easterly winds have caused rain in South as well as parts of North Bengal since last
Monday.
The weather will continue to remain the same in the next 24 hours. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
At least five people have, so far, lost their lives in rain-related incidents at various places.
