Noted Islamic scholar Maulana Wahiduddin Khan passes away

Noted Islamic scholar Maulana Wahiduddin Khan has passed away. He was 96. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Delhi on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences over the passing away of Maulana Wahiduddin

Khan.

Mr Modi said, he will be remembered for his insightful knowledge on matters of theology and spirituality.

The Prime Minister added that Maulana Wahiduddin Khan was also passionate about community service and social empowerment.
