Notification for Gurdaspur Parliamentary Constituency bye election issued

The notification for byelection to Gurdaspur Parliamentary Constituency in Punjab has been issued. A Spokesperson of Office of State Chief Electoral Officer said in Chandigarh that nomination process has started with issuance of notification. 

He said last date of filing nominations will



be September 22 and scrutiny of papers will be done on September 25. The last date for the withdrawal of candidature is September 27. 

The polling will be held on October 11 from 8 AM to 5 PM and counting of votes will be taken up on October 15.
