Notification for second phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand to be issued today

The notification for the second phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand will be issued today. 20 constituencies will go polls in this phase on the 7th of December.

Filing of nominations for this phase will end on November 18, while scrutiny will be taken up the



next day. November 21 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature.

The 81-member Jharkhand assembly will go to polls in five phases between November 30 and December 20 and the counting votes will be taken up December 23.
