"Now, I want Rs 200 crore, not Rs 20 crore", Mukesh Ambani gets fresh death threat

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani received a fresh death threat via e-mail. The e-mail threatened to shoot him dead if he failed to pay Rs 200 crore. "Now, I want Rs 200 crore, not Rs 20 crore," the new e-mail said. 

Sources said that this time another mail came on Mukesh Ambani's e-mail ID today (October 28) from the same email account in which it was written, "U have not responded to our e-mail now the amount is 200 crore otherwise the death warrant is signed” 

According to the Mumbai police, the previous email (October 27) read, "If you don't give us 20 crore rupees, we will kill you, we have the best shooters in India."

receiving the email, based on the complaint of Mukesh Ambani's security in-charge, Gamdevi Police of Mumbai registered a case against an unknown person under sections 387 and 506 (2) of IPC and started the investigation.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani has reclaimed the number 1 position on the 2023 Forbes list of India’s 100 Richest in a dramatic shift in the pecking order at the top. The collective wealth of India’s 100 richest was flat at $799 billion this year.

After receiving that email, based on the complaint of Mukesh Ambani's security in-charge, Gamdevi Police has started investigation by registering an FIR against an unknown person under sections 387 and 506 (2) of IPC.
