NSG commando rescues woman from drowning in Lucknow's Kathauta Lake

A National Security Guard (NSG) commando helped rescue a woman from drowning in Kathauta Lake in Lucknow, police said.

The incident took place when the commando was out on a walk with his senior on Friday evening.

According to locals, the commando rescued the woman as



she struggled in the lake.

Senior NSG officials confirmed that Team Commander Ravi Kumar Rai and Commando Ravi Kumar who were in Lucknow on VVIP protection duty were taking a walk around 6:30 pm along Kathauta Lake in Gomti Nagar when they noticed people recording videos of the drowning woman.
