Nurses across the country have postponed their nationwide strike today following assurance by Union Health Minister J P Nadda to look into their demands. A senior Health Ministry official told a news agency that the decision was taken after a delegation of
nurses met Mr. Nadda in New Delhi yesterday, who assured that their problems will be looked into.
Nurses have been agitating against the recommendations of 7th pay commission and demanding revision in their pay scale and hike in allowances.
