Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi yesterday announced 20 lakh rupees financial assistance for the family of Prashant Satpathy, who was killed in the terror attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Mr Majhi made the announcement after paying floral tributes to the mortal remains of Prashant Satpathy at his house at Ishani village in Balasore district of



Odisha. 

He also announced that the state government would provide a job to the wife of the deceased and free education for their nine-year-old son. Mr Majhi also strongly condemned the terror attack at Pahalgam. Thousands joined the last rites of Prashant Satpathy, who was cremated in his village this afternoon.
