The Odisha government will set up a memorial in honour of all the Covid Warriors who sacrificed their lives fighting the deadly virus. The memorial will carry the names of all the martyred Covid Warriors to keep their memory alive.
Odisha has fairly succeeded in cornering the virus but in the process has lost more than a hundred frontline Covid Warriors as well. The state government has decided to construct a memorial in the capital
Bhubaneswar to immortalise the sacrifice of these Covid Warriors. This was declared by chief minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday while interacting with the family members of the martyred Covid Warriors through video conferencing.
Meanwhile, covid 19 active caseload of the state has further contracted down below 2300, with the test positivity dwindling down to 4.74 as of now.
