Odisha: Man burns mother alive over property dispute, nabbed

A man who allegedly set his mother ablaze in Odisha's Malkangiri district was arrested on Saturday, ANI reported. The woman, who was 55, died.

Motu police limits. The man's mother, Gita Mandal, died from severe burns.
The police said the suspect, Tapas Manadal, 30, picked up a quarrel with his mother over a property issue.
Then Tapas beat her and burnt her alive, killing her, the police said.
