One Army Jawan martyred in Pulwama encounter

In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army jawan was martyred last night in an encounter with terrorists in Aglar Kandi area of Pulwama district.A civilian was also injured, while three terrorists were gunned down. 

Army officials said, the gunbattle erupted



after terrorists fired at the security forces which had launched a cordon-and-search operation in the Kandi belt of the area. 

The operation was launched following information about the presence of some terrorists there.
