One killed in explosion in Puducherry cracker manufacturing unit

In Puducherry one person died and four others injured in an explosion in a cracker manufacturing facility on last evening in Chinna Kalapet near the city. The fire in the building led to bursting of a LPG cylinder aggravating the situation. The building collapsed in the



powerful explosion. Police and Fire Force reached the spot and the injured were rushed to nearby hospital. One worker who was seriously injured later succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Four others including the unit owner and his wife are admitted in the hospital.
